Clark sits in his office chair, staring blankly at his computer screen, obviously befuddled by something while the hustle and bustle of the Daily Planet mere minutes before deadline is going on around him.
Perry leans on Clarks desk and stares impatiently into his eyes, trying to maintain his composure."Well, are you going to answer my question?" Clark turns his head twords Perry. "I'm sorry Perry, what did you say?" "I said, Do you have your story on the Increased Crime Rate in Suicide Slums done or not? I've got a paper to run and the deadline is in 10 minutes!" Perry's eyes bulge with anticipation. "Sorry sir..." Clark rubs his forehead. "I've had a terrible headache all morning...i'm putting the finishing touches on it right now." Perry sighs. "Well...feel better." He turns his head and yells loud enough to where he knows all Daily Planet Employees can hear him, "All stories on my desk in 5!" and the moment he's done speaking everyone's pace becomes much quicker. Clark turns back twords his computer, knowing he had yet to really write...anything. The explosion at Park Ridge last night set him back on his plans. He looks around to make sure no one is watching, then begins to super-type. A few minutes later..."And...that should do it...wait..." Clark adds an e to the end of crim, who said super typing was accurate? "There we go." He begins to navigate through the many complicated menus of the recently updated software on the computers. He sighs, nervously looking at the clock. 40%....42%...Clark stares blankly at his screen counting the numbers, when suddenly a faint droning noise can be heard. "There it is again..." He looks around the Daily Planet, yet he's the only one who seems to be able to hear it. "It must be a low frequency, no wonder my head has been hurting all day, I wonder what's causing this?" Clark looks to his left to see Perry stomping twords him with a concerned look on his face, but before he gets to him Clark jumps up and begins to put his jacket on, "It just sent." "And where are you off to in such a hurry?" Perry says. "I've gotta go to...well, somewhere, i'll be back." "Okay then." Clark heads for the elevator, enters, and presses the 1st floor button.

Diana flopped down onto a park bench and stretched out on it as she put her hands behind her head. She was too tired from walking and hitchhiking to do much of anything at the moment. She had a few bucks on her left over from when she robbed some of the guys that had been sent to kill her. Its not like she could go and get a job like a normal person.
She started to wonder what it would be like if none of this had happened and that she had grown up on Themyscira with her mother and the others then on the run and being hunted down by the army. She blew out a sigh not something she could really think on at a time like this she couldn’t be caught off guard and end up like her sisters and almost everyone else. She had to find out what had happened to her home and put an end to this witch hunt.
After a while she got up and began to wander around wondering what she was going to do to pass the time until night or the army finally catches up to her and try to kill her again. Diana shook her head those guy’s never learn no matter what they throw at her she always throw’s it back harder. She stopped when she heard a noise did they find her already? She rolled her eyes as she made her way towards the noise to see what was going on. Well at lest no one else heard it so whatever it was they wouldn't get in the way.

Clark waits patiently as the elevator hums downwards. Ding He exits the elevator and waves to Mr. Hems-worth who is buffing the floors as he heads for the main entrance. Mr. Hems-worth has been here for 70 years or so now, and was a bartender when the Daily Planet was a speakeasy during the 40's.
Clark walks out of the spinning doors and hears birds chirping, people talking, horns honking, and that awful droning noise too. "It sounds close..." As Clark spoke those words he noticed a woman across the street walking in the same direction as the noise, although the odd thing was she looked as if she was following it...too. Clark watches her eyes fixated on the direction of the noise and follows her from the other side of the street, and in turn the noise, too. "Can she hear it too?" he says. He tries to keep his eyes locked on her, even though buses and cars are passing by blocking his view. He gets to the intersection and crosses the street, following behind her now, both walking in unison twords this strange sound.

Ever since she started following the noise Diana had felt eyes on her someone was watching her. Using the window reflections she saw who it was some guy in a suit he didn’t look like any of the people that normally chased after her. Maybe they finally hired someone to do their dirty work? A frown appeared on her face. That was the last thing she needed to be dealing with someone new and unknown to her.
She kept an eye on him in the windows as she kept moving towards the sound. She looked in another and noticed he wasn’t across the street anymore that could only mean one thing. Turing her head just enough to look over her shoulder she spotted him still following her. Great. It was times like this she wished she could fly but she couldn’t so she did the next best thing and took off running. If he wanted her he was going to have to keep up. She began picking up speed as she got closer to the cross walk not slowing down she ran out into traffic just avoiding being hit a number of times by the cars and trucks.

Clark followed behind the woman until suddenly she began to burst into a sprint, not knowing why. "What the..." Clark said. He began to chase after her, partly because he doesn't know why she's running, partly because he's curious, and partly because he knows there's something about her that isn't the same as other human women. Her aura is different, and she emits energy he's never encountered before. Clark runs past the already stopped car which previously missed running into her, the driver with a stunned look on his face, and one yelling at the mysterious woman who seems to have already gone out of sight. Clark runs around the corner, hoping she's around the corner, but she isn't. Clark stands there blanky, unsure of what just happened, unsure if what he felt was real or not. At that moment a woman in high heels comes strutting behind him and says, "Excuse me...!" almost pushing him aside, obviously just getting back from shopping since she has 3 large bags in her hands. "Sorry mam..." Clark says. He begins to walk backwards slowly and turns around, facing back in the direction he came. The droning sound can be heard again. Clark looks to his left, and follows the street down a hill. He looks at the number of citizens in the streets, none of them reacting to the sound he's able to hear. "What could be causing th...." In the middle of Clarks sentence he stops, hears the sound get very loud, and looks to his left down an alleyway. He turns down the alleyway, and makes his way to a man-hole. "Why is there a man-hole here of all places?" He kneels down and lifts the cover off of the man-hole, and peers down. The sound eminates. "This is definitely the source..." Clark turns around and begins climbing down the ladder, into the darkness.

After losing the suit Diana made her way into the sewers making her way towards the sound. She didn’t get to far before she came across her stalker only this time she stayed hidden in the shadows planning on following him for a change to see where he was going. Maybe he was the one behind that weird noise, only way one to find out if he was or not. Usually she stayed out of this stuff leaving it for the tights to deal with but she wanted to know why that guy was following her like she knew something about it.
My turn to follow you now. She waited until he started to move before she would start following him keeping as quiet not wanting the man to know she was there until she found out what was going on. As far as she knew guy's who dressed like that didn't go into the sewers unless they were up to something.

The bright green computer screen glared into Lex's face in the darkness of the sewers. He stares at the video monitor for any movements until suddenly, a moving figure appears in the shape of a man wearing a suit, and an overcoat."And what do we have here?" Lex had a secret juncture connecting LexCorps to the sewers which he used in cases such as this, when he needed to lure his prey somewhere discreet. He had a few computer monitors in a steel-enclosed room, along with a few unidentified pieces of equipment, all with glowing green lights on. "That's not Superman, I wonder if the frequency is wrong..." Lex had thought of a master plan to lure Superman in, to use a low frequency sound that only he could hear, and then...well, since it's not Superman i'll save that for later. "Well, whoever it is, this is not their day." He notices another figure crouching down on his video monitor, apparently following the larger figure. The monitor crackles and fuzzes, Lex bangs it, it appears to be a woman. "Two little mice...what a very bad day, for the two little mice." Lex laughs, pushes his chair back and gets up. He presses a tiny green button on a wall and the wall opens up. Lex grabs his new shiny toy he just had his scientists create. "Just for fun..." He lugs the gun from the giant wall to the sliding steel door, presses the button, and walks outside prepared to meet his two new friends. Lex mocks the two as he walks down the sewer pipe, "Didn't your mum ever teach you not to go into strange dark places?"

Clark continues pacing through the dark sewers, hearing tiny mice run every so often and pebbles falling from the ceilings into the water. Clark stops, knowing someone's following him. "..." But as soon as he can turn around and assess his stalker, a bald man hiding behind shadows points his large glowing gun at him. Clark doesn't know what to say, all he can manage is, "Who are you...?"
