Formerly the first Asteroid M before crashing into San Francisco Bay, Utopia was rebuilt by Cyclops and has become the X-Men's primary base of operations. Utopia is a haven for refugees and mutants who fled persecution after the aftermath of The Civil War. With the help of Magneto, Prince Namor has constructed New Atlantis beneath the surface.
